Dossier for a more in-depth look at what mediation is.

Mediation is a conflict resolution procedure alternative to the legal channel, in which, through intervention in the conflict by an impartial third party, dialogue is fostered to reach an agreement between the parties.

On the occasion of the European Day of Mediation, the Library of the UOC has prepared a new monographic dossier on mediation. It includes information on what mediation is, its different applications and the impact of mediation around the world, as well as information on the European Day of Mediation, to be held on 21 January.
