Dossier for a more in-depth look at what e-government is.

E-government is a new alternative for interaction between citizens (natural persons) and businesses (legal persons) and the state, regional and local administrations and town councils, among others. It is based on the use of the information and communication technologies (ICT) to design, develop and implement digital tools and environments enabling this communication.

The UOC Library has produced a new dossier on rewards-based e- government, where you will be able to find a selection of resources that will help you understanding what e- government is, its legal framework, how is it implementated in Catalonia, Spain and Europe; and information about administration and open government, interoperability and electronic signature and electronic certificate, along with other content.
