Àngels Fitó Bertran, new UOC president
To mark the recent appointment of Àngels Fitó as the new UOC president, the Library has selected resources related to her career. Àngels Fitó has a PhD in Business and Economics (having specialized in Tax and Financial Management and Management Control) from the University of Barcelona, and is a senior professor at the UOC. From 2019 to 2023 she was the UOC's vice president for Competitiveness and Employability.

Awards and accolades
The ACCID-Òmnium Award is presented to teachers or researchers who have published studies in accounting and business management in Catalan. In 2018, the winner was Àngels Fitó.
Àngels Fitó won the City of Mollerussa Novella Award in 2021 for her novel Si no ho fas tu, ho faré jo.
