This Saint George's Day, the UOC is celebrating its passion for reading with a series of initiatives and recommendations for book lovers.

The third edition of Relats compartits

Relatos compartidos (Shared Stories), a project organized by the libraries of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) aimed at restoring the legacy of female authors in literature and giving them the recognition they deserve, returns once again. This year, the initiative has also benefited from collaboration with the UOC's Culture department.

Now in its third year, it continues to expand its collection of open access audio readings of works by women writers. The entire UOC community can join in:

  • Record an audio reading: choose one of the texts in the public domain that we suggest and record yourself reading it. You can do this from 22 April until the end of May. Find out all the information you need to participate.
  • Share: raise awareness of the project and the audio readings on social media with the hashtag #RelatosCompartidos.
