The UOC’s Library contributes to a book

Open Educational Resources and Social Networks: Colearning and Professional Development published by the Open University’s Knowledge Media Institute (KMI).

The UOC’s Library contributes to the book entitled Open Educational Resources and Social Networks: Colearning and Professional Development published by the Open University’s Knowledge Media Institute (KMI).

The book presents frameworks of reference and case studies on how to develop open educational resources (OER), how to reuse them and how to disseminate them to promote collaboration in e-learning.

Published under a Creative Commons licence and available in different formats (paper and electronic), the book is a trilingual work in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The UOC Library took part in writing the following chapters:

  • Capítulo I. La función de los recursos de aprendizaje en la universidad. Authors: Iolanda García (UOC eLearn Center) and Cristina López-Pérez (UOC Library)
  • Capítulo V. El repositorio institucional de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Authors: Cristina López-Pérez and Cristina Vaquer-Sunyer (UOC Library)

The UOC has also participated in another chapter:

  • Capítulo III. Diseño de Recursos Educativos Abiertos para el aprendizaje social. Authors: Marcelo Maina and Lourdes Guàrdia (UOC eLearn Center)
