The Library takes part in Summon Day

The event took place on 25 May in Madrid and was organized by ProQuest. The UOC Library was invited to talk about its pioneering experience in Spain in adopting the Summon discovery tool.

The Library’s presentation, delivered by Mireia Pérez Cervera, covered the whole process of introducing the search tool, a process that began in 2011, and the series of adaptations that have been developed to adapt it to the UOC’s context. The presentation included data on the evolution of use at the Library. It also detailed the tool’s main benefits and drawbacks, and improvements that could be made.
