The university publishes in open access the Vives Network guides for university teaching with a gender perspective
For International Women's Day (8 March), the Library team has selected a range of educational materials, final projects and literature from a gender perspective. They are accessible to the entire university community and cover a wide variety of topics ranging from female leadership to teaching with a gender perspective.
New learning resources on gender studies
Around 40 new learning resources have been added to the Library's GENDERUOC collection, on gender studies. You can consult the educational materials prepared by the UOC for its courses to facilitate understanding and awareness of issues relating to gender, women, feminisms and sexualities.
The collection was released in 2022 and currently has 170 resources that can be accessed when you log in to the UOC Virtual Campus. The most recent examples include:
Gina Aran and Cristina Febrer, two members of teaching staff with experience in team leadership and management, share their knowledge, opinions and experience.
An interactive infographic with the keys to build an equality plan in a company in accordance with the current regulatory framework.
A resource to reflect on the reality of clinical psychological intervention and the challenges it faces in a constantly changing world.
Gender studies final projects
The UOC's collection of final projects includes 210 works on topics relating to women's studies. They are available to everyone in open access through O2, the UOC's institutional repository.

The Vives Network guides to university teaching with a gender perspective are now in the UOC's O2 repository
The guides, which have been prepared by the universities forming part of the Vives Network, provide teaching staff with guidelines to review courses from a gender perspective in different disciplines and fields of knowledge. To help disseminate them and facilitate access to them, the UOC has published all these guides in the institutional repository, the O2.
Anyone who wants to do so can read the 33 documents, which contain recommendations and indications in relation to objectives, contents, examples, language used and selected sources, as well as teaching, assessment and management methods of the learning environment and their outcomes.
Equality Unit special collection
The Equality Unit collection contains more than 170 readings for teaching and research with a gender perspective. It was prepared by the Equality Unit, the Library team and the UOC's Gender and ICT (GenTIC) research group. The recommended items include equality plans from various universities and institutions in Spain and abroad, as well as academic literature such as books, project summaries, articles, websites and reports.
