New opinion articles in the Library to reflect on international current affairs

With Project Syndicate, the new resource available through the UOC Library, you can access opinion articles and exhaustive analyses of current affairs, written by renowned figures in the fields of economics, politics, health, activism and culture. For example, you will find the contributions of Shirin Ebadi, an Iranian lawyer and Nobel Peace Prize winner (2003), or Joseph E. Stiglitz, an economist awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics (2001).
The owner is a non-profit organization that publishes and distributes to media all over the world, such as The Guardian, Le Monde and El País. It has been working since the 1990s to offer media around the world a plurality of perspectives on major contemporary challenges, regardless of economic resources or political context. That's why its motto is "The World's Opinion Page".

How to get access
Enter the platform's name in the UOC Library search engine, or search for it from the page Search the digital collection by field (enter "Project Syndicate" in the Search by name or keyword field). Once you find it, click on the "Access resource" button.
The entire UOC community can access Project Syndicate from the Library.
