Doctor, scientist, educator, entrepreneur, writer and philosopher. Alejandro Jadad is all of these things and today he is to be awarded the University's highest accolade: an honorary doctorate. With this new dossier, the UOC Library looks to provide an in-depth look at the life and work of this expert, founder of the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation at the University of Toronto and, currently, professor and director of the Institute for Global Health Equity and Innovation.

The "human internet"

The biographical information on Jadad to be found in the dossier only goes to strengthen the argument behind some calling him the "human internet", as he has visited over 100 countries to search for and connect the world's best minds, organizations, tools and knowledge.

His work

From a recent talk, where Jadad reflected on the meaning of health, to one of his books for professionals working in any area of patient care. You'll find these and other works in the dossier.
