AccessMedicina, a platform with manuals and multimedia content in the field of health, now available in the Library

Books, infographics, podcasts, videos, 360° images and self-assessment tests to learn about health sciences 

It covers different medical specialities such as neurology, internal medicine and anatomy

The Library presents AccessMedicina, a McGraw Hill publishing group platform, where students and teaching and research staff can access a wide range of multi-format content on health sciences. From reference books to podcasts, videos, infographics and self-assessment materials on different medical specialities.

How do I access it?

Enter the name of the platform in the UOC Library search engine, or search for it on the Search the digital collection by field page (type AccessMedicina in the Search by name or keyword field).

What do you need to know?

To use the quizzes and flashcards (Autoevaluación section) and the case studies (Casos section), open a free account on the platform from Mi Perfil (in the top menu) > Crear un perfil gratuito Access.

With this profile, you can save favourites, review your search history, and receive alerts. You can also access the content of AccessMedicina from the app (iOS or Android).

The account is time-limited. To keep it active you will need to access the platform from the Library and log on at least once every 90 days. If you fail to do so, the account will automatically expire.

Access and explore this resource; it is especially interesting for health sciences students and is available to the entire UOC community.
