In this monograph you will find banks of open access resources and tools (with Creative Commons licenses), or alternatively, a free version allowing non-profit use of images, sounds, photographs, multimedia, etc., which you may use in your work and learning projects. It offers as well tools for creating infographics and conceps maps, as an effective way to explain complex concepts or relationships, organize information and provide added value to content.

Image banks
Offered by the Educational Telematic Network of Catalonia (XTEC), Ministry of Education of the Government of Catalonia, it contains icons grouped in the following categories: Access to Technical Assistance, Computer Access, Social Welfare Activities, Adjectives, Social Welfare Assistance, Assistance in Everyday Activities, Communication Assistance, Mobility Assistance, and Boccia.
Contains drawings in color, classified by themes or categories. Once the theme is chosen, a text list of included drawings appears. Scroll through the titles to choose images to be viewed, downloaded or saved.
Website where more than 2.5 million users share more than 400 thousand images. There are two types of images available: free (shown in the central part of the website) and pay (which appear with a watermark). Conditions of use are specified for each image, but most of them allow their use except in specific cases. You must register as a user to download the images for free.
Public archive of images in English. The only conditions of use for images found here is that you may not sell them, license them or claim ownership.
Audio banks (only sounds)
Platform for the exchange of sounds created by the Music Technology Group at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. It offers more than 40,000 sounds in WAV and MP3 formats under four Creative Commons licenses (depending on the license, sounds may be used in different ways): zero (A0), Attribution (by), attribution non-commercial (by-nc) and the additional license sampling plus. Catalog of audio music files with a Creative Commons license BY-NC-SA v1.0. It provides a selection of 20,000 songs, encompassing a wide variety of genres. The files are in Wav, Vbr, Mp3, AAc and ALAC formats, as well as open source FLAC, OGG or OPUS.

he Library provides access to a portion of its audio collections through the Recorded Sound Reference Center's web page, the American Memory site (music, interviews...), the Performing Arts Encyclopedia and the American Folklife Center pages.
Banks of audiovisual resources
Extensive bank of sounds, images and video recordings of animals (in English). With the mission to collect and preserve recordings of the behavior of animal species and natural history, the Macaulay Library actively promotes the use of these resources for diverse purposes spanning scientific research, education, conservation, and the arts.
