Register for the webinar series to find out more about the resources available to you in your field of study

Knowing where and how to search for information and to analyse it critically will not only save a lot of time, but also help you to produce higher-quality work. The UOC Library team, in partnership with different publishing groups, invites you to follow a series of webinars providing search tips and sources of information available to the university community.

These webinars will take place over the coming months at different times of day. Prior registration is required.

  • Conoce Graó: libros y revistas especializados en educación

    6 p.m (CET) on 7 November - in Spanish 
    1 p.m (CET) on 8 November - in Catalan

    Learn how to use Graó, a collection of magazines and education manuals with a focus on infant, primary and secondary education. We'll explain how to access the platform, what content it offers and how you can read it.

  • Empieza a usar SABI: información de miles de empresas

    6 p.m (CET) on 14 November - in Spanish 
    1 p.m (CET) on 15 November-  in Catalan

    The SABI platform has information on Spanish and Portuguese companies: basic details, balance sheets, etc. We'll explain how to carry out searches, how to find corporate reports and how to export the information.

  • Encuentra información sobre turismo con Hospitality and tourism

    This online seminar is an introduction to the specialist Hospitality and Tourism collection, which contains, for example, information on sustainable tourism and trends in the sector. In addition to journals, the collection offers books, newspapers and reports on companies and countries. The session will show you how to conduct searches, save results and create alerts.

    In this webinar you'll learn how to use Business Source Complete, a collection of journals, trade publications and citations that covers business issues such as administrative processes, marketing, production and finance. It also includes up-to-date reports on companies, sectors and regions. The session will show you how to conduct searches, save results, create alerts, and access companies' reports and documentation.
