Unleash your creativity with the ProQuest Art, Design and Architecture Collection. This electronic resource includes documents on modern and contemporary art, design and crafts and the history of Western art, covering a period that runs from the end of the 19th century to the present day.

It also provides you with access to a complementary collection of full-text magazines.

What will you be able to find there?

  • Design and Applied Arts Collection: a collection of international scope and updated monthly, it includes highly specialist content that would be difficult to locate anywhere else, such as resources relating to product packaging, precious metalsmithing, glass, landscape design and graphic design.
  • International Bibliography of Art: research papers on Western art, with archives created by the Getty Research Institute. Academic information sources on the art of the colonial period, popular art and architectural history.
  • Bibliography on Modern and Contemporary Art: covers all forms of art such as painting, sculpture, photography, video, body art and graffiti. Its abstracts and indexes cover the entire period running from 1960 to the present day.
  • Arts & Humanities Collection: If you are looking for an article to tell you about the cultural and social influences of a specific artist, this is where you will find it. It provides access to full-text versions of more than 500 titles that combine art and design with other disciplines such as history, philosophy and music. Everything you need to help you complete your work or research.
