Her job is to make sure that the Library's digital collection works properly and is suitable for users' real interests and needs. Among other tasks, she is responsible for contacting suppliers and sales representatives, managing the budget and examining how the collection is used.
She is part of an educational working group that focuses on improving the digital skills of the university community, particularly in finding and managing information, to enhance performance in both academic and professional settings.
Like the rest of her colleagues in the Library, she also handles the queries submitted to The Library Replies service.
Education and professional career
She holds a Diploma in Library and Information Science, a Postgraduate Degree in New Technologies for Information Management and Access from the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) and a Postgraduate Degree in Publishing from the UPF (Pompeu Fabra University). She has worked as a librarian and documentalist in institutions including the Library of Catalonia, Pompeu Fabra University and the Documentation and Access to Knowledge Service of Barcelona City Council, and companies including Desigual, Grifols and BBDO. Much of her professional career has focused on private companies and specifically on the advertising and communication sector.
Personal interests
She enjoys reading, films, hiking and spending time with her family.
