How can other institutions supply documents to the UOC Library?
Except for institutions with the same administration system as the UOC Library, Spanish and international institutions have the following email for sending documents in digital format to the UOC Library: sod@uoc.edu.

When can I request a book on loan?
When you request a loan, we'll first look to find the book in digital format. If we find it, we'll add it to our collection so that other people can read it and we'll provide you with the link.
As a digital library, we make every effort to add to our digital collection because more people can access the works instantly, from anywhere and at any time.

What happens if I don't return a book, lose it or return it in poor condition?
Notify the Library team immediately if a book is lost or damaged.
You will have to replace it, with a copy of the same edition, or a similar edition if it is out of print, and you will have to send it by courier or certified mail to the UOC Library team address.
You will not be able to access our lending services and digital articles until you have done so.

Can I go to another university library in Catalonia to collect a book in person?
You can pick up the book in person at the university library which owns it.
You will always have to prove your identity with your UOC card.
Before going, and only the first time, you'll need to sign in to My account with your Virtual Campus username and password to automatically update your details as a user of the loan service.
