Meet the team

She is responsible for the editorial production of Editorial UOC books and new learning resources for UOC X courses. The process begins when an author hands in their work and ends with the publication of the learning resources in the classroom or by preparing Editorial UOC titles for shipment to the printer and digital distribution platforms.

Her daily tasks include overseeing the creation of new content, assuring quality and making deadlines, which keeps her in constant touch with suppliers, authors and faculty.

She holds degrees in Catalan Philology and Hispanic Philology (UdG) and a postgraduate diploma in Editorial Techniques (UB). She has rounded out her training through a number of editing and language proofing courses.

Her career has taken her through many facets of the publishing industry. Before joining the job, she worked at Editorial Planeta and as coordinator at an editorial firm. She also worked as academic journal publisher with the Elsevier group and between gigs has engaged in freelance work as a proofreader.

She enjoys travel, city strolls and nature walks, reading, attending the theatre and going to the cinema.
