To mark the 2020/2021 academic year's inaugural lecture, given by Sanjay Sarma, the UOC Library has produced this dossier of resources in connection with his career. Sanjay Sarma is the Fred Fort Flowers (1941) and Daniel Fort Flowers (1941) Professor of Mechanical Engineering and the Vice President for Open Learning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The latter position ties him to the Jameel World Education Lab, which works on the future of education with universities worldwide, including the UOC. He is a leading authority worldwide on research into the science of learning. Likewise he is highly acclaimed in the field of mechanical engineering, particularly for his development of RFID technologies.
