Universia is the leading network of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking universities. It is made up of 1,242 member universities in 23 Ibero-American countries, representing 15.3 million university students and faculty. It promotes social and business development through talent, knowledge, applied research and institutional collaboration between universities and businesses. Jaume Pagès has been its Managing Director since early 2005.

The Institut d’Estudis Catalans is a centre for Catalan studies and, through its sections and associated societies, it promotes and develops research in different areas of science and technology and, above all, in all those areas relating to Catalan culture.

The Associació Contra l'Anorèxia i la Bulímia de Catalunya (Catalan Association Against Anorexia and Bulimia) is a non-profit organization founded in 1992 to raise awareness on eating disorders – anorexia, bulimia, overeating and obesity. Jaume Pagès is its founder and president.

A group of associations with a wealth of experience in promoting health and fighting eating disorders worked to create the Fundació Imatge i Autoestima (Image and Self-Esteem Foundation), which carries out different activities to raise awareness the implication of businesses and institutions.

The RESA Group was founded in 1992 with the aim of becoming Spain’s leading university residence network. Jaume Pagès has been its president since 2005.
