I'm not yet familiar with the Library. What can I find there?

- Services: we clear up any doubts you may have, and help you find information and expand your searches.
- Information and guidelines for passing your assignments.
- Library guides: guides with selected content for looking at various topics in more depth (cryptocurrencies, speech therapy, climate change, etc.).

How can I recommend a resource?
Teaching staff, researchers and students can suggest the purchase of resources such as books, journals, databases and others through the Recommend a resource service.
Our team at the Library will evaluate the possibility of including the resource using the following criteria:
- The interest and relevance of the topic and the authors in relation to the university's fields of study, teaching and research
- The resource's availability in digital format (this will be prioritized)
- Budget availability and resources already present in the collection, to ensure thematic balance
The Library will inform you whether your request has been approved or declined.

This means it entitles you to the discounts and benefits that organizations and companies offer to university students in general, such as tickets to museums and permission to consult and borrow books from university libraries in Catalonia and from other institutions with which the UOC has an agreement.

I have finished my course. Can I carry on using the Library?
You can continue to use the Library's search engine to consult content that is published in open access.
UOC Alumni can also continue to benefit from many of the Library's services.
