How can I access the Library?

You can continue to use the Library's search engine to consult content that is published in open access.

UOC Alumni can also continue to benefit from many of the Library's services.

Please note that some Library content, databases and platforms have a limited number of user licences, and priority access is reserved for educational purposes. This is why you can only consult them while you are a student at the UOC. 

Access to the website and search engine will be open to everyone. However, some subscription services and resources will only be available to members of the UOC community (depending on their user profile).

• Specialized digital content(books, journals, etc.) for your field of study, accessible 24 hours a day.

For example, an atlas of the human body, an online art gallery, newspaper archives, documentaries, recordings of concerts and plays, and publications including The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.

• Services: we clear up any doubts you may have, and help you find information and expand your searches.
• Information and guidelines for passing your assignments.
• Library guides: guides with selected content for looking at various topics in more depth (cryptocurrencies, speech therapy, climate change, etc.).
• Seminars and self-training modules: go to the Library's BiblioSkills training site, and find out how to search for information, avoid fake news and cite references correctly.

• Books, articles, journals, videos and databases that have been specifically selected as a result of their quality and relevance to the university's areas of study.
• Recommended reading: resources recommended by the university's teaching team for more in-depth information on the courses.
• Learning resources: educational materials produced by the UOC and used in its classrooms, which are available to all members of the university community.
• UOC degree final projects and open access articles: contents available in open access in the UOC's O2 Repository.
