In August our services will remain available, although in some cases the response time may be affected slightly.
Enjoy summer and all the Library's services; just be prepared to wait a bit longer for an answer.
Do you have a book out on loan you'd like to return? Even though we've extended return times until 15 September, if you are itching to get it out of the way, just take it to any of our UOC centres. There is no need to make an appointment but make sure to check the centre's opening hours.
Remember that the centres do close for most of August; from 3 to 30 August to be exact, except for the Manresa office, which due to a local holiday will not open until 1 September.
Once we are back in September we will resume work on the loan service, with new measures in place as part of the UOC centres' and points' return to the workplace. We'll also make sure our measures are aligned with the procedures in place at other Catalan university libraries (for consortium loans) and national and international centres (for inter-library loans), who are also working to get back to business as usual.
The Library Replies
Have a query? In August The Library Replies will be there to answer your questions; it may just take a bit longer than usual.
The remainder of the Library's services, such as the Electronic Documents Supply service or Bibliographic Services, will open again in September.
Spend the summer exploring the digital collection
If you need to look something up in the meantime, while services are still returning to normal, we recommend checking out the 177 platforms and over 180,000 e-books and e-journals in our collection. They are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Just use the E-Resources filter in the Library's search engine to get a list of everything available in electronic format.
