Com et pot ajudar la Mari?

She is responsible for defining the Library's web strategy with the aim of improving the user experience.

Mari is also involved in identifying and continuously improving the strategic indicators, which measure the Library's activity and enable it to fine tune the service it offers to UOC community users.

She also provides training in the resources and services to different user profiles to ensure that they get maximum benefit from them.

Like her other colleagues at the Library, she also attends to the queries received by The Library Replies service.

Education and professional career

She holds a doctoral degree in Social Communication from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), a master's degree in Computational Linguistics (UPC-UB), and official llicenciatura degrees in Information Science from the UOC, and in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Barcelona (UB). She has been an adjunct professor at the UPF since 2006.

Her main fields of professional experience are university libraries, information management, and training. In recent years, she has also performed research related with information management and processing. She believes that it is fundamental to stay up to date in her profession and that, because of this, continuous learning is a necessity.
