Take advantage of the Christmas holidays to discover PressReader, the Library's new platform which members of the UOC Community can use to read the latest editions of newspapers and magazines on any device. It contains titles from all over the world, on topics including travel, art, films, sports, fashion, video games, technology and a whole lot more. The content includes many of the most widely read magazines in Spain, including National Geographic, Vogue, Viajes National Geographic, Viajar, El País and El Periódico.
How to get access
There are two ways to read newspapers and magazines in PressReader:

Search for "PressReader" in the Library search engine or in the Search by name or keyword field on the Search the digital collection by field page. |
Download the app and enter your UOC Virtual Campus credentials. You must follow these steps to access. |
To access the PressReader content that the Library subscribes to when using the application:

Download the PressReader app, available for iOS or Android.

Open it and tap Sign in (bottom of the home page). Select Libraries & Groups, and then Select Library or Group.

Here are some examples of magazines that you can read on PressReader now, including those most viewed by the UOC community since the launch of the platform:

The Harvard Business Review celebrates its 350th issue with a special on the future of business management. Experts predict the trends that will shape the management of companies in the coming decades. You can read this and other issues of the magazine in the UOC Library.

The December issue includes a special feature on the latest archaeological discoveries related to the Tartessos civilization, in the south-western Iberian Peninsula (ninth-sixth centuries BC), plus a selection of the best images of 2024 and the stories behind them.

This issue invites you to discover some of the world's most spectacular places, featuring the snowy landscapes of Lapland, as well as other destinations including Miami, Brussels, Périgord, Thailand and Madrid.
