Picking up and returning items on loan will be easier from now on.

The Barcelona Library Consortium and the UOC have reached an agreement to carry out a pioneering pilot test. The aim is, from 14 February onwards, to let items on loan from the UOC Library be picked up from and returned to the Jaume Fuster Library in the Gràcia neighbourhood of Barcelona.

This means that people who often use this library will now find it easier to consult the recommended reading for their courses, to find out more about the subjects they are studying or to work on their continuous assessment activities.

This pilot test will let UOC students pick and return items on loan from the UOC Library at the Jaume Fuster Library from 14 February to 30 June. The service will then be evaluated and analysed to see whether the experience should be extended to other public libraries in Catalonia.

How can you take part in the pilot test?

To be able to pick up items from the Jaume Fuster Library, simply select it from the drop-down menu when requesting items on loan from the UOC Library website. If you have any doubts or questions, contact The Library Replies service.
