The UOC Library's services during the summer: what you need to know

In August the Library's services may take longer to respond. They will return to normal in September.
In order to carry out some improvements, from 8 July to 15 October September loans of books from other Catalan university libraries will be temporarily stopped. You will still be able to request books from the UOC (except in August).
In August we will continue to attend to your enquiries and requests sent through The Library Replies and to offer most services. In some cases, we may take a little longer to get back to you.
All services will be fully back to normal in September.
What will the loan service look like?
If you're looking for a specific book that's only available in paper format, please bear in mind that the loan service will be unavailable from 1 to 31 August (inclusive).
The books you reserve during this time will be sent to you from 2 September.
To ensure you receive the book in time for the summer, we recommend that you order it in the first half of July.
Improvement work
Due to maintenance work, from 8 July to 15 October there will be a temporary interruption to the book loan service from other Catalan university libraries.
You will be able to continue requesting all other books through the Library's search tool until the August summer break.
Book renewals
- Renew your loans before their due date.
- Do you have a book to be returned? There will be no returns in August, so you can return it from 2 September.
