8 March, International Women's Day, is a time to stop and reflect on the progress made in gender equality and the challenges that still lie ahead of us. To celebrate this annual event, the UOC Library team brings you a selection of content so that you can take an active part in reflecting on and raising awareness of gender equality.

Reading material, statistics, videos and photographs to find out about leading women and the current state of gender equality in the world.
The report by Statista provides statistical data and an analysis on the state of gender equality in several countries. It contains key indicators including the gender pay gap, female representation in management positions, access to education and health.
This book analyses the ideas of ten female thinkers, and each chapter includes testimonies from contemporary women entrepreneurs and institutional leaders, who share personal examples and stories.
