JSTOR is a collection of information created by the non-profit association ITHAKA, which aims to make knowledge more accessible to everyone and ensure that it is preserved. The entire UOC community can access its content, covering the arts, humanities and social sciences, through the UOC Library. It contains journals, books, works of art, photographs, videos and digitized documents from libraries, museums and archives all over the world.
A lot of the material is in English, but you will also find content in other languages, such as Spanish. The content can be read online or downloaded.

Journals
More than 2,800 digital journals from sixty academic publishers. From the first issue to more recent editions, which can be viewed 3 or 5 years after their publication date. Some of these journals date back to the twentieth century, making JSTOR the ideal tool for retrospective searches and for researching development in a topic over time. Some examples include:

The UOC community can read more than 100,000 books from renowned university publishers, including Princeton, Yale and California. You will find titles including:

More than 2 million high-definition images – from ArtStor's former collection of images – including works of art from museums including the Louvre, architectural plans, illustrations, letters, literary documents, newspapers, magazines, photographs, postcards, yearbooks and much more. Video and audio material
Around a thousand videos and a hundred audio clips with transcripts for ease of accessibility. The collection contains interviews, instructions, animations and images from historical archives, etc.
